Who are we? Well basically we’re just a bunch of asphalt-obsessed road hippies. Our publisher hails from the Asphalt Institute and ASPHALT Magazine. So I guess that makes us bona fide asphalt industry aces who love spending time doing consumer relations from the road. Most often, Layne Rider is our gal “out and about”; but Jennifer, Kendal, Karen, Mike and Pete also keep the momentum going around here.
What’s this site for? FavoriteRoad® is an online community gathering place for “road talk”. Here, you’ll find tips and pics of great road spots, general road education, and you’ll also learn about ways you can help us spread the asphalt message. For example, did you know that ASPHALT is 100% recyclable? You didn’t? Well NOW you do…all because you visited our site. Nifty.
So if you are passionate about the road, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us where you like to drive, what you drive, or why the roads matter to you.
